After agonizing about buying a vacuum for literally weeks, I took the bait and bought the Prolux X8 Elite. It's a back pack vacuum. I have 2,450 sf of house to keep tidy between guests at the Airbnb we own. The plush carpet we installed proved to be a challenge for every vacuum we tried there.
Since this has adjustable suction, I can turn it down on the carpet, and back up on the LVT surfaces. And ergonomically, the handle adjusts for height, so both giants and midgets alike can use it!
And I can switch attachments without removing the Bacuum (that's our fancy name for it). It easily made vacuuming the stairs, and switching from carpet to LVT areas a breeze.
The only regret I have is that I didn't buy it when we first launched the house for bookings. It would have saved my back a ton from lugging up and downstairs a vacuum that toppled over multiple times trying to clean the stairs.

Dog fur is no match!
In a home with two dogs and three kids, messes are constant. This machine has finally made it possible to reset our home with each cleaning - absolutely zero dog fur left behind! Our old "cheap" vacuum barely made a difference, but the X8 totally revitalizes our couches, rugs, and floors every time!

The Prolux is wonderful. Super powerful, but still quiet. This thing is tremendous and way more than we expected. My wife loves this vacuum, and it even came with all sorts of great attachments for every job. Thank you Prolux!
I purchased a new wand because the electrical part of it had been pulled it and it was designed in a way it could not be fixed. The new wand was made placed down the outside of the wand, ensuring it can’t be broken the same way again.
I am still trying to work some of the implements because there is no instruction pamphlet.
The foot pedal on the power nozzle is temperamental and trying to figure out how everything works.
I am looking forward to using it though as it looks like it will do a good job.
